Kalahari Baby

This weekend we had a reunion of my friends from UW Stevens Point. We stayed at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. Ben had his first swim! He wasn't real sure about it but was a good sport and only cried once. It was so great to see everyone - our lives are so different now with our families.

Thursday

I got a little more done on the wall this evening, and started working on the steps.

Yard pics

It's now 18 days since we planted the lawn. My dad and I put another couple of feet on the stone wall on Saturday... almost ready to put in some steps.

Friday

We planted our first tree yesterday!

Sorry it's been so long. Here are a few of the latest pictures of the boy, and of the projects in the yard.

13 days ago, my dad and I planted the lawn... and after 12 maddening days of running around getting soaked by sprinklers and clopping through mud... now we have a greenish hue.

Then we are also working on a fieldstone retaining wall that divides the front yard from the back yard on the east side of the house.
